Andhra bank`s clerical recruitment is heading towards completion with the release of interview schedule for eligible candidates.The results season have once again started with atleast one bank coming with announcements of proceeding towards the next stage of selection.
During April – May 2012, Andhra bank had issued advertisements to fill 600 clerical vacancies across many states.Though graduates were only asked to submit applications, it was later changed to accommodate +2 passouts as well
Online applications were also invited from IBPS clerk common exam qualified candidates.Apart from the minimum sectional cutoffs of 24 (gen) & 21 (others) the bank had also fixed state-wise TWS scores.
Interviews from Aug 6
Since the vacancies are distributed state-wise the list also contains names of shortlisted candidates according to the state which they applied for.
As the head office of Andhra bank is located in Andhra pradesh the bank has chosen little over 2600 candidates from AP alone for interviews which has 177 positions.If you are from AP, download the list from here

Interviews are scheduled to happen from August 6 to 9th at two different session 9AM & 2PM
Its wont be possible to know which scores have been scored as the cutoff scores taken by the bank for the purpose of shortlisting them is not revealed.
Final selection
Although the number of people appearing for personal interviews (PI) are high the bank shall finally select those who have secured high scores in both – written test & PI.
While, your interview session carries a total of 35 marks one has to score atleast 40% (gen/obc) & 35% (sc/st/pwd) to qualify in this stage & head towards final merit list.
Since it is also required to possess proficiency in the local language of the state – you may be asked to answer questions or write a passage for the interviewer to assess your lang. communication skills.
