The question paper leak has become a regular affair at every SSC recruitment exams.The Multi Tasking Staff (Non Technical) examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 30th April has been cancelled after the afternoon shift question papers were leaked.A re-examination is also scheduled to be held soon.
The SSC MTS recruitment 2016 exam was announced to fill 8300 group C cadre multi tasking staff vacancies in central government ministries, departments and offices, in different states and union territories.
As part of the selection process, the written examinations were scheduled on April 30, May 14, 28 and June 4, 11, 2017.
SSC MTS Paper I Leaked with Answer Keys
The question paper leak came to light after Neetu singh, director of a delhi based coaching institute shared images of the afternoon shift question paper and its answer keys.She had also requested SSC and PMO to take action against the wrongdoers.
The Staff Selection Commission, following this revelation, announced on their official website, about the cancellation of MTS (paper- I) exam held on April 30 afternoon shift.
The official statement reads, “The Staff Selection Commission has taken a decision to cancel the (Paper-I) (Afternoon Shift) of the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination 2016 held on 30th April 2017, because the said paper was found to be compromised. The re-examination for only those candidates who appeared in this shift will be held in due course and the candidates would be suitably informed accordingly. The inconvenience caused to the candidates is regretted.”
The re-examination dates, once decided shall be informed on the SSC`s website.
