Institute of Banking Selection Personnel is authorized to conduct recruitments on behalf of 20 nationalized banks in India.
The ones declared qualified in that test were put through personal interviews & the final results were out in February 2013.
The latest development from IBPS camp is – 2nd provisional allotment for PO CWE qualifiers has been completed & candidates are being informed through SMS.
The institute had infact hinted about allotting more aspirants through waiting lists for both PO & clerical posts.Ever since this news was shared, candidates were eagerly waiting for round 2 PO appointments to happen which has now happened. |
In a bid to end rumors, IBPS has also published a detailed statement displaying categorywise cutoffs.Download the note from their site here (.pdf)
The below table shows the min. combined scores (total of 100) set for second round of allotment.
Unreserved | OBC | SC | ST |
60.56 | 57.24 | 54.26 | 41.88 |
Phase I: Here are the maximum & minimum scores (CWE+interview) for whom their preferences were alloted in March 2013.
Having received the confirmation, candidates will be receiving appointment offers in the coming days from respective organizations that includes conditions, joining process & other formalities.
As part of the common recruitment procedure – 22,415 PO vacancies were advertised as part of phase I activity across all PSB`s for 2013-14.
Based on candidate preference, final score & number of jobs – intimations were sent by respective banks to chosen individuals.
The posts left unfilled during earlier recruitment & newly created vacancies (as on 31.07.2013) amounting to 5806 openings have now been released for round 2. |
Since IBPS has released the 2nd list of vacancies, it is natural for remaining passouts to think of these questions:
We think anymore lists wont be possible for scale-I officer posts as the next PO common exam is scheduled to happen in October 2013.
As allotments for PO 2014 would commence in March, banks shall wait till then rather than recruiting in short numbers every 4 months.
Whatever it maybe, bank jobs are going to be in news frequently hereafter – be it PO, clerk or specialist officer
