Engineer(Trainee) – 600 posts(Mechanical – 350,Electrical – 200,Electronics – 50)
Supervisor(Trainee) – 600 posts(Mechanical – 400,Electrical – 120,Electronics – 40,Civil – 40)
After completion of training the Engineer trainees will be appointed as Engineers & Supervisor Trainees will be appointed as Assistant Engineer(Grade III).

Eligibility – for Engineer Trainee :
Candidates interested to apply for the post of Engineer – Trainee,
* Must have completed Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech Fulltime)in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics with minimum 65% in all years/semesters.
* The Upper age-limit for graduates is 27yrs & 29yrs for P.G graduates in Engineering or Management.
for Supervisor Trainee :
Candidates interested to apply for the post of Supervisor-Trainee ,
* Must have completed Diploma in Engineering (Fulltime) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil with minimum 65% in all years/semesters.
* The Upper age-limit for diploma graduates is 27yrs.
Application : The candidates of General/OBC category have to pay application fee of Rs.400(Engineer trainee) or Rs.300(Supervisor trainee) in any branch of SBI to the mentioned account using the challan given in BHEL website.(There is no application fee for SC/ST/Physically challenged ).It is necessary to collect the Journal number & the receipt of payment.
Apply Online : The applications for the post has to be submitted online through the website of BHEL only between 31/08/2009 & 21/09/2009.The print-out of the acknowledgment slip must be sent to BHEL,Trichy along with a copy of payment receipt before 28/09/2009.
