As per the RBI assistant 2021 recruitment notification, it does NOT require a candidate to have passed in IBPS common bank exams. So even those who are new to banking exams are eligible to apply.

The approximate RBI assistant salary is Rs.45,050/ month that includes various allowances such as DA, HRA, Travel etc.,
Inorder to apply for RBI Assistant jobs, you must satisfy the following conditions,
– Aged between 20 – 28 yrs as on 1.02.2022 (OBC: +3yrs & SC/ST:5 yrs)
– Should have min. 50% marks in degree (UG) aggregate (only for GEN/ OBC) as on Feb 2, 2022
– Must posses knowledge of computer operations (MS-Office, Word etc)
– SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates: Pass in any degree is sufficient. No minimum marks are required.
Candidates applying for a particular state, must know to read/ write & speak the official language of the state.
The RBI assistants recruitment 2021 selection process consists of Preliminary examination, Main examination and Language proficiency test (LPT)
Preliminary examination: Prelims is an online test comprising of objective type (computer based) questions for 100 marks in i) Reasoning ability (ii) English (iii) Numerical Ability.
Only those who pass in each of the above objective test shall qualify for the RBI assistant main examination scheduled in the month of May 2022. For each wrong answer, 0.25 negative marks will be reduced.
Main Examination: It will have 200 questions for 200 marks, which has to be completed within 135 minutes. The main exam pattern is as follows:
Similar to prelims, candidates have to pass in each test of the main exam, for being considered to the final merit list. All those who are shortlisted in the main examinations would have to appear for language proficiency test, which will be conducted at the respective RBI.
