Bank of Baroda is inviting applications to fill specialist officer vacancies in scale I,II & III cadres.Although IBPS SO exam is conducted for specialist officer posts in govt banks, it is primarily held only for freshers.

As part of Bank of Baroda Specialist Officer Recruitment Project 2016-17, a total of 1039 posts (across various disciplines) have been earmarked.

        * candidates can apply for any one post only BUT for Finance/Credit (scale II) and Trade Finance (scale II), you may apply for both if the applicant fulfils the eligibility criteria.

        Salary: Officers are being recruited directly into higher grades & hence the salary is also higher.The approximate salary of BOB specialist officer, in a metro city is:

        • Scale I (JMG/S I): Rs.66,000 /month
        • Scale II (MMG /S II): Rs.81,000 /month
        • Scale III (MMG /S III): Rs.1,00,000 /month
        • Scale IV (SMG/S IV): Rs.1,21,000/ month

        The above figures are inclusive of DA & allowances such as SA, HRA, CCA etc. that could differ based on the place of posting.

        Who are Eligible:

        Since there are many positions to be filled through this recruitment, we are explaining the eligibility conditions for top posts only.

        Finance/Credit (scale II):

        There are 235 openings for this position & if you wish to apply, you should be

        • Aged between 25 – 32 years as on 1.11.2016 (OBC: +3yrs, SC/ST: +5yrs)
        • CA or ICWA or Full time MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance) or PGDM (Finance)
        • Atleast 2 yrs experience in Credit Processing /Appraisal, Corporate Credit Relationship Management (preferred to have in banking/ financial sector)

        Finance/Credit (scale III):

        A total of 205 vacancies are available, for which the eligibility conditions are:

        • 28 – 40 yrs as on Nov 1, 2016 (OBC: +3yrs, SC/ST: +5yrs)
        • CA or ICWA or Full time MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance) or PGDM (Finance)
        • Minimum 4 yrs of experience in Credit Processing /Appraisal, Corporate Credit Relationship Management (preferred to have in banking/ financial sector)

        Marketing (scale II):

        200 vacancies are present for marketing officer position in Bank of Baroda.

        • Age to be minimum 25 yrs & maximum of 32 yrs as on 1.11.2016 (OBC: +3yrs, SC/ST: +5yrs)
        • Should have MBA/ PGDBM / PGDM / PG degree in Marketing
        • Minimum of 3 years experience in banking/ financial services firm in sales dept.

        Trade Finance (scale II):

        100 openings for this position is available.Checkout the eligibility criteria as:

        • 28 – 40 yrs as on Nov 1, 2016 (OBC: +3yrs, SC/ST: +5yrs)
        • CA or ICWA or Full time MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance) or PGDM (Finance)
        • Minimum 4 yrs of experience in Credit Processing /Appraisal, Corporate Credit Relationship Management (preferred to have in banking/ financial sector)

        Human Resource Management (scale II): Applicant must have a degree in MBA/ PGDM in HRM/ Personnel Management /Industrial Relations/ HRD (full time 2 yr course)

        Posses 2 yr experience of working in banks/ financial institution in the field of HR.

        Selection Process:

        Since the recruitment is held for different positions, the selection process differs for each scale.

        Scale I: Online test followed by GD & Interview

        Scale II, III & IV: GD and (or) Interview only.

        Note: Incase the number of applications received for scale II & III are high, BOB may conduct an online written test.

        The exact dates of written test, group discussion & personal interview would be informed later on BOB website.

        Service Bond: All selected candidates for appointment should sign a bond agreement to serve the bank for a minimum of 3 years or pay Rs.1.5 lakh incase of discontinuation.
