Bank of Baroda is inviting applications to fill specialist officer vacancies in scale II & III cadres in area of Corporate & Institutional Credit. Although IBPS SO exam is conducted for specialist officer posts in govt banks, it is primarily held only for freshers.

Post & Vacancies:

As part of Bank of Baroda Specialist Officer Recruitment 2022, a total of 325 posts (across various disciplines) have been earmarked.

1. Middle Management Grade/ Scale II

  • Credit Analyst50 Posts

2. Middle Management Grade / Scale III

  • Relationship Manager 100 posts
  • Credit Analyst – 100 posts

3. Senior Management Grade / Scale IV

  • Relationship Manager – 75 posts

Salary: Officers are being recruited directly into higher grades & hence the salary is also higher. The approximate salary of BOB specialist officer, in a metro city is:

  • Scale II (MMG /S II): Rs.1,60,000 /month
  • Scale III (MMG /S III): Rs.1,98,000 /month
  • Scale IV (SMG/S IV): Rs.2,30,000 /month

The above figures are inclusive of DA & allowances such as SA, HRA, CCA etc. that could differ based on the place of posting.

Who are Eligible:

Bank of Baroda intends to fill positions in different cadres through this recruitment and hence the eligibility criteria differs for each scale, which we are explaining below:

Credit Analyst (scale II & III):

  • Age limit of 25 – 30 years (for scale II) and 28 – 35 yrs (for scale III) as on June 1, 2022 (OBC: +3yrs, SC/ST: +5yrs)
  • Should have completed graduation and PG degree/ diploma with specialization in Finance OR CA/ CFA/CS/ CMA etc.,
  • Atleast 4-5 yrs of experience in Public / Private / Foreign Banks in Credit Processing /Appraisal, Operations etc.,

Relationship Manager (scale III & IV):

  • Age limit of 28 – 35 years (for scale III) and 35 – 42 yrs (for scale IV) as on June 1, 2022 (OBC: +3yrs, SC/ST: +5yrs)
  • Must have completed Degree and PG degree/ diploma with specialization in Finance OR CA/ CFA/CS/ CMA etc.,
  • Should possess min. 5 to 10 years of work experience in Public / Private / Foreign Banks/Financial Institutions with strong exposure in Sales/Relationship Management in Corporate Credit.

Selection Process:

Although the recruitment is held for different positions, the selection process involves Online test, followed by Group discussion & Interview. The exact dates of written test, group discussion & personal interview would be informed later on BOB website.

Service Bond: All selected candidates for appointment should sign a bond agreement to serve the bank for a minimum of 3 years or pay Rs.1.5 lakh incase of discontinuation.
