While IBPS specialist officer exams are held for recruiting scale I officers, banks have started conducting separate selection process for scale II & above that are purely for experienced professionals.

To apply for bank of india specialist officer recruitment 2017, you need to satisfy the following conditions.
* IBPS exam scores are not required.Hence all those who have not appeared or couldn’t clear the test can also apply.

Note: Candidates who are in final year/ semester of their MBA/ PGDBM/ PGDBA degrees are also eligible to apply for Officer (credit) posts, but the final results should be declared on or before June 30, 2017.
Although the bank is hiring for senior scales, selection for all posts will be based on online test & interview.
There will a common online test for 150 marks in general awareness, financial management & english language.
While the marks secured in english will not be taken for final merit list, there is negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer in all objective tests.
Based on the exam marks, candidates will be shortlisted for interviews, following which the final merit list would be prepared.
The online registration link is available on bankofindia.co.in through which you can submit your applications after entering the correct details.
All applicants are required to pay Rs.600 [Rs.100 for SC/ST/PWD] through an online payment gateway integrated with the application form.You may use Debit/Credit cards or Netbanking facility to transfer the fee amount.
On successful completion of registration & payment, do not forget to take a print of the e-receipt & the system generated application form for future reference.
