Bank of India has finalized the list of candidates to be called for Interview as part of the PO recruitment project 2011-12.This was conducted after IBPS started the common written exam for PO/ MT posts in public sector bank.Read on to know more about the selection process & the way forward..
To fill 1800 vacancies, Bank of India had invited online applications from IBPS scorecard holders in the month of January 2012.The minimum TWS score to apply was mentioned as 130 for Gen; 117 for others

Interviews are scheduled to happen from March 26, 2012 & call letters are to be printed from Mar 16 onwards directly at Bank of India`s website.
The Interview process is for 100 marks & minimum qualifying marks is 50% (Gen) &
45% (others).Final selection shall be done by preparing a merit list with the CWE & Interview marks, ranked in descending order (top to bottom)
Cutoffs
Like previous banks Bank of India has also revealed the cutoffs fixed for each category.Based on this candidates have been shortlisted.

Since the bank has called candidates in the ratio of 1:3, naturally the TWS score is high.The exact reason for such a move is not known as some banks had earlier called upto ratios of 1:6
With yet another bank calling for Interviews, candidates with TWS score less than 160 are worried as predicting their chances have become even more complex.
