The hiring for clerical cadre employees is in full swing as PO selections have reached completion stages.Bank of Maharashtra has joined the interview bandwagon by put their schedule of events for clerk recruitment taking little over 20 days from the registration closing date.
In April, Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) had issued ‘clerical recruitment project 2012’ advertisement to fill 543 clerk vacancies across various Indian states.
While state of Maharashtra topped the list with 274 posts, others only had few seats.
Over 2200 called
Although BOM had fixed minimum TWS scores for each state/category, they had mentioned of choosing only those applicants who rank sufficiently high in the ratio of 1:3
As per their notification, 2205 candidates have been shortlisted for Interviews.But the cutoffs are not specified.
Personal interviews (PI) are to be conducted from July 9 – 12 at major cities only. The date, venue & time for the same is also provided & you wont be able to select them.

Interview Info:
The total allotted for interview process is 50 marks & you will have to secure 40% marks to qualify (35% for sc/st/obc).Those failing to pass in interviews shall not be considered for final selection.

For preparing final merit list combined score of candidates in IBPS CWE & Interview could be taken in appropriate proportion to rank them.
Probation & Bond:
Not many banks impose bond conditions on clerical employees but Bank of Maharashtra does.
As per it, candidates chosen for appointment after interviews should execute a service bond for Rs.50,000 agreeing to serve the bank for minimum 1 year period (including 6 month probation)
The said amount must be paid to the bank if you choose to leave the organization before 1 yr.
