There is widespread news about FCI recruitment 2022 after a recent circular by Food Corporation of India, went viral with details of category-wise (grade II, III & IV)vacancies. Food corporation of India is a public sector undertaking and one of the largest organizations in the country that facilitates distribution of food grains all over the country, fetch the right price for farmers and helps the government in taking necessary steps to implement national food security.
With the FCI depots & offices spread across India, there are many jobs in various grades and categories in different departments , which is the reason for the massive vacancies advertised in FCI recruitment notifications, which creates an excitement among candidates from various degree backgrounds.
Post & Vacancies:
As per the circular, a total of 4710 vacancies exist in category II, III & IV, as on February 28, 2022.These jobs are present in the following cadres: Technical, General, Account, Depot, JE (EME, Civil), Typist, AG-II & Steno -II.
This is not a recruitment notification but just a compilation of vacancies in each category, which was sent to another department within FCI.We are not sure when an official recruitment notice will be released by FCI.
Is FCI Recruitment 2022 announced?
Food corporation of India has not yet officially released the FCI recruitment 2022 notification. The above circular is a compilation of vacancies in various departments of FCI. There is no mention of any recruitment news in it which means, we need to wait a little longer and see whether FCI uses this compilation of openings to come up with an official recruitment notification.

Who are eligible?
Are you thinking of whether you fulfill the eligibility conditions & apply online for FCI exams? Then read below for the qualifications:
Junior Engineer:
- Civil: Must have completed degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (one year
experience required for diploma holders) - Electrical Engineering: Must have completed Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (1 yr exp. needed for diploma)
- Mechanical Engineering: Must have Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (1 yr. exp. necessary for diploma)
Assistant Grade III:
- Depot: Graduation in any degree with proficiency in computers.
- Accounts: Must possess B.Com degree along with computer operation knowledge
- General: Candidates with degree in any discipline & proficient in computer usage
- Technical: Should have completed B.Sc.(Agriculture) OR B.Sc. (Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science) OR B. Tech / BE (Food Science & Technology /Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology) & knowledge in computer operations.
All the above educational qualifications should be valid at the time of online application.
