The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2015 was scheduled to be conducted on multiple dates – December 5, 6, 12 & 13th.Approximately 8 – 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the online test during the these days.
Despite the massive floods in Chennai & nearby areas, IBPS did not announce anything about the clerical exams on their website.Apart this incident, exams were held in all centres as planned.
Candidates had 100 questions under 3 sections – English, Numerical Ability & Reasoning Ability.
They have to solve in 60 minutes for a total of 100 marks.Each correct answer carries 1 mark & for each wrong option, 0.25 will be reduced as negative mark.
The pattern of IBPS clerk preliminary test is framed in such a way that it tests your ability to answer a question with maximum accuracy in minimum time.
A vast majority of participants who took their exams on Dec 5, 6, 12 & 13 are terming the tests as easy.Now lets us see how they performed in each section.

The comprehension passages that usually consume time was infact quite easy.Some felt the cloze test, error spotting & sentence formation were confusing but doable.

With one more weekend exam pending, there is a chance for IBPS to change the question pattern slightly OR increase the difficulty level to maintain competitiveness.
What will be the cutoffs of IBPS clerk prelims 2015 exam could be the next big thought in all your minds now.
Most probably, there could be only a common cutoff for all states at this level.State-wise cutoffs could be implemented for the main exams.
Going by that logic, the ibps clerk prelims 2015 expected cutoffs could be in the range of 42 – 50 for general.For other categories it could be slightly lower than this figure.
As you know there shall be individual cutoff scores on each section as well which would be normally within 15.
