Bank recruitments for the year 2013 have virtually come to an end with the clerk allotments being announced by IBPS.The common selection procedure for bank jobs in India has truly revolutionized the way in which public sector banks fill their vacancies. With the final results now out, candidates shall look forward to join their dream organization.
The common written exam for clerk posts in 19 PSB`s was conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December 2012.
Once the results were out details about the 39,000 clerk vacancies was also revealed for candidates to register their preferences.
Allotments End: Cutoffs Displayed
The qualifiers of IBPS clerical CWE were asked to register their preferences among the participating banks in April.
Depending on their total scores, merit & positions available individuals have been assigned to one bank, says the institute via a notification on website.
The maximum & minimum scores fixed for allotments are also now available. It means, all those who have secured the specified min.score or above can assume as offered clerk jobs.
The minimum final score of cutoff for clerical allotment state-wise & category-wise are given below:
With IBPS completing the allotment process for banks – clerk recruitment 2013 has formally concluded.
Intimations Being Sent:
Candidates are receiving mobile messages (SMS) from IBPS about their allotment advising them to wait for official communication from the respective banks on joining formalities.
Those intimations sent directly by the bank could be mostly through an email. It shall contain information on joining date, reporting time, terms & condition etc.
Not received mail? We see a lot of people complaining over non-delivery of emails. There are two possibilities for this issue:
- Could have landed in your spam or junk folder. So check it
- The emails may not have been sent yet.Wait for few more days & contact the bank directly to get a status update (get number from their website)
The banks may also publish a list with names of selected candidates for clerical positions similar to what they did after PO allotments.Hence do visit their sites regularly.
Waiting/ Second Lists
Will IBPS release any waiting lists? Is there any possibility for second list? These are some of the questions asked constantly by qualifiers below the min. score.
If a qualified applicant does not accept the offer & chooses not to join his/her allotted organization, that post could be filled with person next in the merit list.
But nobody knows or has access to those lists. Also its not possible for anyone to predict how many have rejected the offer. Therefore one has to wait for atleast 1 or 2 months for all the joining formalities to be completed.
If they do choose some for unfilled vacancies, it would be notified directly to candidates or on the bank`s website.
