Expectations were running high for many participants of IBPS PO preliminary Exam 2016 held during the 2nd week of October.They will now be relieved as the prelims results have just been announced.With a new recruitment process in place for the recruitment of officers in public banks, the qualifiers shall now take up the main exam.
As per the selection notification for probationary officers, candidates who qualify in the preliminary test shall only be eligible for the main exam.
IBPS PO Prelims 2016, an online test of 1 hour was conducted on Oct 16, 22, 23 & 27 at various centres across India.

The 6th common exam for probationary officers (IBPS PO 2016) to fill 8800+ officer vacancies in 2017 – 18 is being held in two stages mainly to filter candidates.
It is expected that approx. 10-12 lakh individuals may have appeared for the preliminary test.

When can I see my marks?
IBPS in their results page have clearly mentioned that the scores obtained by candidates will be made available within 7 days.
By November 14th, you can expect the prelims exam scores to be released on ibps official website.Till then take a look at the IBPS PO prelims exam review & expected cutoffs shared by individuals as many called it moderate & time consuming.
Although the marks you scored in prelims wont be taken into account for final selection, its better to know where you stand & which sections need improvement.It would surely help you in preparing for the IBPS PO main exam with more intensity.
Mains on Nov 20 – Admit Cards Released
IBPS had already released its schedule of events long time ago wherein the timeline of events were clearly specified.
The action now shifts to November 20 – date of IBPS PO Main Exam which is your final stage to proceed further in your goal to become a bank PO.
