IBPS PO Prelims Call Letters Out | Revision Materials & Documents to Carry

The IBPS PO 2016 Prelims call letter has been released just in time for the 1st stage examination.It is part of the recruitment in public sector banks for the post of probationary officers.All those who had applied earlier were eagerly waiting for the issue of these call letters which can be also called as hall tickets without which you cannot appear for the IBPS PO prelims exam.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had released an official notification to fill 8800 vacancies in 20 govt banks on all india basis.

As part of the PO selection process, a preliminary test is conducted on October 16, 22 & 23, 2016.It is an online exam consisting of 100 questions for 100 marks & should be completed in 60 minutes.

Steps to download IBPS PO Call Letter:

Remember, it is compulsory for candidates to bring the printout of call letter to enter inside exam hall.

You can now download the IBPS PO prelims admit card from this webpage here after entering your registration number & date of birth/ password [link shall remain active from Oct 1 – 17, 2016]

Save the file to your desktop OR take a print of the document directly.

Paste your photo in the space allotted on the letter.

Make sure the photo in the call letter & the one uploaded to the application are same.

What Documents to Carry for Exam?

There are few important documents/ proofs that you should produce at the exam centre. Without these, no candidate would be allowed to take part in the test.

1) Call Letter: Download it from the above link

2) Photo Identity Proof: Bring the original photo ID proof along with a photocopy (xerox).

Both these documents must be handed over to the invigilator after he collects your signature & thumb impression in the call letter.

Note: Ration card is not a valid id proof.

List of acceptable ID proofs are below: (must bring original as well)

  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Employee ID
  • Voter’s Card
  • Driving License
  • College ID card
  • Aadhar card with photo
  • Bank Passbook with photo

Incase a candidate has changed his/ her name, they are required to produce the specific gazette notification or marriage certificate (for ladies) or affidavit mentioning the change.

Rough work should be done on sheets provided in the exam hall only, which must be handed over to the supervisor after the test is over.
