The rural banks are similar to public sector banks but are located predominantly in towns & villages to provide banking services for people living in those areas.
In its 4th year, IBPS saw a total of 56 RRBs across India participate in IBPS RRB – IV to recruit candidates for Officers (scale I,II & III) & Office Assistants (multipurpose) positions.
The written exams were conducted in September 2015 & shortlisted candidates had appeared for interviews during the months of November/ December 2015.
The most expected list of vacancies in all the regional rural banks have now been revealed. It is for these posts, finally selected candidates will be considered for appointment.
According to the final tally, 12690 jobs were created in 56 RRBs that would be filled in 2016-17.
If you had appeared for Interviews, you can now view the result status along with scores & allotment details at the links below, by entering your reg. number & password.
More details on appointment, joining formalities & date of reporting will be communicated to candidates individually by those respective rural banks.
As most information shall be sent to your email ids directly, keep an eye on your inbox regularly. You may view the official notice on provisional allotment from their website here
Like previous years, IBPS has created a reserve list (waiting list) to the extent of approximately 10% of the total vacancies reported in allotment.
Incase any candidate does not join OR RRB itself creates few more vacant posts during January – December 2016, then those in reserve list will be considered for appointment.
If no new positions are created, the reserve list will automatically expire on 31.12.2016
I am in reserve list. Will I surely get appointment?
There is no guarantee that any one in the list to get selected. All depends on whether a bank wants to create new positions or not.
Looking at previous years, banks have not come up with any additional vacancies once the regular allotment is over.
So candidates in reserve list – instead of waiting, we suggest you to learn from your mistakes & start preparing for upcoming bank exams or other govt jobs.
