IBPS RRB Prelims 2017: Download Call Letters and List of Documents to Carry

The countdown for IBPS RRB prelims exam 2017 has started with the release of call letter/ admit cards.This preliminary examination is the phase I of the selection process for the recruitment of Officers & Office assistants in regional rural banks spread across India.Since a large number of candidates had applied,the tests are to be conducted on weekends in the month of September 2017.

IBPS RRB recruitment 2017 notification was announced in the month of July to fill a total of 15,337 vacancies in 56 regional rural banks (RRB).Since the banks are located all over India, a detailed state-wise and bank-wise list of vacancies was also advertised.

The online preliminary exams are to be held for Officer (scale I) & Office Assistant cadre only.According to the official calendar released, here are the dates.

  • Officer (scale I) – September 9, 10 and 16
  • Office Assistant – September 17, 23 and 24

The results of these exams would be declared in the month of October 2017 itself.

All those who had submitted their applications for Officer (scale I) and Office assistant posts in RRB, are eligible to download their exam call letters upto September 24.

Follow the steps given below to get yours without any errors.

– Enter your registration number & date of birth/ password to sign-in.

– Call letter shall be displayed with your exam date, time & venue.

Take a print (Ctrl + P) of this call letter & paste your recent passport sized photograph in the space provided.

Note: All those who couldn’t pay application fees & incomplete registration cannot attend the tests nor download call letters.

Call Letter Instructions & Documents to Carry

The call letter should be handed over to the invigilator along with a valid photo identity proof.Make sure to carry any one of the following ID proofs (original & 1 copy):

  • Passport

  • Aadhar card

  • PAN Card

  • Driving License

  • Voter’s ID

  • College ID

  • Bank Passbook with duly attested photograph

  • Gazette notification/ Marriage certificate/ Affidavit for name changed candidates

Mention your Roll No. & registration number on the photocopy of ID proof.

Without ID proof, you will not be allowed to participate in the exam.Also those candidates whose identity proofs doesn’t match with details mentioned in their call letter also wont be permitted to sit for IBPS RRB prelims 2017.

Sign the Admit Cards: There are two spaces in the call letter, where you must sign in the boxes only in the presence of the hall supervisor.

  • Left thumb impression
  • Signature

Don’t get too excited & sign/ place your thumb impression in home itself as it could get you disqualified.
