Indian Overseas Bank announced their interview schedule today as part of its clerical recruitment project.The bank has shortlisted candidates based on scores of the newly implemented common written exam for clerk jobs by IBPS.Infact 19 public sector banks in India have already started to appoint officers through the same route.
To appoint 1500 clerks, Indian overseas bank had invited online application from valid scorecard holders upto July 14, 2012.
As per their notification, candidates with following qualifications were asked to apply,
- 65% in 12th (pass for SC/ST) OR Pass in any degree
- Sectional score of 24 (gen) & 21 (others)
- Common TWS score of minimum 120 (gen) & 105 for others.No state specific scores were specified for each state.
This had enabled all exam qualifiers to submit their application for clerical posts in IOB.
Interview in August:
Having shortlisted the desired necessary number of applicants for interview sessions, Indian overseas bank has advised these selected people above a certain cutoff to get ready for the final level:
Personal interviews are scheduled to be start from August 24 & may extend for atleast a week.
