Karur Vysya Bank (KVB), a leading private sector bank has released the notification for recruitment of PO.Started in 1916, KVB is one of the leading private banks in India with head office in Tamilnadu.The bank has over 660 branches across India and commands a large customer base in souther india.
IBPS PO and IBPS clerk exams are the common way to secure officer and clerical jobs in public sector banks.But private banks, follow a seperate selection process of their own for recruitment of officers and clerks.
Since Karur Vysya Bank is not part of the the IBPS PO recruitment process, they have issued a notification to fill PO cadre positions.

The salary for PO is Rs.5.50 lakhs/ annum which comes around Rs.45,000 /month (including allowances).

Who are Eligible
Since IBPS exam scores are not required to apply for KVB PO recruitment 2017, here are their eligibility conditions,
– Age should not be over 28 years, as on May 31, 2017
– Completed PG degree (any discipline) or Dual degree or BE/ Btech/ BSc agri with aggregate 60% marks as on 31.5.2017
– PG final year students with exams in May/ June 2017 are also eligible to apply.
Those with degrees through part-time/ correspondence/ distance education are not eligible.
Procedure of Selection
As part of the selection process, applicants must appear for an online examination scheduled in the month of July.Candidates who qualify in the online exam will be called for personal interview.
Each correct answer will fetch you 1 mark & every wrong answer will get you 0.25 negative marks.
Do remember that cutoffs are to be applied on individual sections & total scores. So only those candidates who qualify in the test by securing the two cutoffs are called for Interview.
The test would be conducted only at limited test centres in the following states: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu.
