The selection process for LIC AAO post is almost similar to that of Bank PO with only one difference – No 2 stage examiniations (prelims & mains).

As per rules,there will be two cutoff scores that a candidate must obtain inorder to qualify in the online test.It shall be applied in two stages:
These minimum qualifying scores would be fixed by LIC after the exams based on the performance of all candidates.
Here are the cutoff scores of LIC AAO 2013 recruitment for 750 vacancies.
There was another recruitment for LIC AAO posts in the year 2015.But the number of openings were very less – 100 vacancies.
But the LIC AAO 2015 cutoff scores were also on the same level of 2013, which is quite surprising.

The written test cutoffs are for a total of 300 marks only, as your score in english section is not considered for final calculation.
But candidates are required to qualify in all section including english, though.
