If you are willing to apply for the NIELIT recruitment 2017, it is necessary to posses the following eligibility conditions such as,
– Age limit: upto 30 years as on 28.8.2017 (age relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD etc.)
– Scientist B (group A): BE/ B.Tech. with 60% aggregate in Computer Science/ Computer Engg/ IT / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication OR M.Sc. (Physics/ Electronics/ Applied Electronics) with one year of relevant experience, as on August 28, 2017
– Scientific/ Technical Assistant: M.Sc/ MS/ MCA/ B.E/ B.Tech with 60% aggregate marks in any one of the following fields: Physics, Electronics, Applied Electronics, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer and networking security, Software System, Information Technology, Management, Informatics, Computer Management, Bio-informatics, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System(GIS), Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computational linguistics, Information Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Design, as on 28.8.2017.
The selection procedure for Scientist B (group A) consists of a written test and Interview. For Scientific/ Technical Assistant posts, applicants need to appear only for a written test and shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification stage.There are no interviews for technical assistant post.
The written test will consist a total of 120 objective type questions consisting of 60 questions from Computer Science and 60 questions from Logical, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Awareness and Aptitude.
While each correct answer carries 1 mark, there is negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.
The minimum percentage to qualify the written examination will be 50% for General, 40% for OBC and 30% for the SC/ST categories.
Interested candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs.800 through online mode only while submitting the online application at apply-delhi.nielit.gov.in before August 28, 2017. There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates.
