Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd is keen to start its metro rail services in 2017.It is the reason for them to look for candidates to fill various Non-Executive posts in NMRC.

As part of NMRC recruitment 2016, a total of 745 vacancies are created under non-executive cadre, which is administrative in nature.They are:

These vacancies are not state-wise & candidates could be posted in Delhi or any other metro city depending on requirement.
Who Are Eligible?
Inorder to apply for NMRC recruitment 2016, you will need to fulfil certain eligibility conditions listed below.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as on July 1, 2016 (+3 yrs for OBC & + 5yrs for SC/ST)
Educational qualification: It differs for each post.Read the details carefully & refer the notification to confirm if you posses the required qualification
Station Controller/ Train Operator (SC/ TO):
3 yrs Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic engineering or equivalent OR
BSc Hons OR BSc in (Physics/ Chemistry/ Maths) from a govt. recognized university/ institute.
Customer Relations Assistant (CRA):
Must have completed any degree (3 or 4 years) in any discipline AND Certificate in computer application course (minimum 6 weeks duration)
Junior Engineer (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Civil):
3 yrs Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Civil engineering or equivalent
Account Assistant: B.Com degree from a govt. recognized university/ institute
Maintainer: Should have completed ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) in Electrician, Fitter, Electronic Mechanic, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.
Candidates who are currently in final semester are also eligible for this NMRC recruitment 2016 BUT must produce proof of passing the necessary diploma/ degree on group discussion/ interview date.
Selection Process
The noida metro rail corporation follows a selection process that includes Written Test, Group discussion, Psycho Test (qualifying) & Personal Interview.
Written Test: For all positions, a written test is compulsory that should be taken up by all applicants at centres located in Delhi & NCR only.
So here is the pattern for the written exam, which may be online or offline.
Paper I: 120 multiple choice, objective type questions.Duration: 1.5 hours
- General awareness
- Logical Ability
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Knowledge of your discipline/ trade
Each wrong answer will fetch you negative mark of 0.33 marks
Paper II (not required for maintainer): Objective type questions to test your general english language skills.
60 questions | 45 minutes | 0.33 negative mark |
Paper I & II will happen on the same day & candidates need to qualify in each paper separately.
Based on the total marks, a merit list is prepared & those ranking at the top will then be shortlisted for GD/ Personal interview/ Medical test etc.,

Registration Steps
Candidates need to visit delhimetrorail.com before December 15, visit the careers page & click on the recruitment notification “NMRC/OM/HR/I/2016” to open the online application page.
After submitting your application, the fee of Rs.400 & Rs.150 (SC/ST) must be paid at any branch of State Bank of India – after 24 hours of generating the challan online.
You can download the registration acknowledgement after 2 working days of completing the payment.
