Still feeling for missing the common PO exam held in September? Then this could be good news – IBPS has decided to conduct a separate exam for those who were not allowed to appear for the examinations due to various reasons.So get ready to take up your 2nd chance.
All set: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had advised all candidates eligible for the PO/ MT common written exam to report at the test centre on September 18, before 30 mins along with originals of Call letter, Fee receipt, Photo ID etc., A day before the exam, we also carried an article on this website about the last minute tips.
Careless attitude: But on the D-day, some came late & some turned up without the prescribed documents who were refused entry into exam hall by officials.
Newspapers also reported on this confusion that went on to say about a group of expelled candidates from Nagpur even lodging a police complaint & demanded IBPS to conduct exam for them!
Once more: Since this is the 1st common bank test, IBPS seems to have taken a lenient view by announcing a supplementary exam for candidates who were not allowed to take the test.To appear, they will have to register online again (fee payment not required) & sit for the exams, to be held in select cities across India.
* Online application process from Oct 5 to Oct 12, 2011
* Written test on November 13, 2011
* The call letter for this supplementary test must be downloaded from IBPS website from Nov 1 & would not be sent by post.
Make sure you have the original fee payment receipt, roll no & other previous details for filling the application & submitting at the test centre.
