Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a notification inviting applications for the recruitment of 535 specialist officers for the year 2020.PNB is the second largest public sector banks in India with a presence of over 10,930 branches across the nation.
Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India were recently merged with Punjab National Bank.The bank recruits for PO & clerk positions through the IBPS PO & clerk selection process.
While IBPS specialist officer exams are held for recruiting scale I officers, banks conduct individual selection process scale II & above cadre posts, that require experienced professionals.

Note:
Although the bank is hiring for senior scales, selection for all posts will be based on online test & interview.
A common online test for 200 marks in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language & professional knowledge for a duration of 120 minutes is scheduled to be conducted in the month of October/ November 2020.
There is negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer in all objective tests. Based on the exam marks, candidates will be shortlisted for interviews, following which the final merit list would be prepared.
