There shall be written examination for both positions which consists of two papers (Objective & Descriptive test).
While paper I & II carry 200 marks each, interviews are held for a total of 100 marks.
It is necessary for candidates to secure minimum cutoff marks in each paper.Only those who posses the necessary score in paper –II will be considered for interview stage.
Books: We could find books available for engg.assistant post on the internet.So for technician cadre, you will have to visit any local book store.

Candidates interested to apply for SSC`s Prasar Bharti engineer recruitment should pay an application fee of Rs.200 at any branch of State bank of India via cash or netbanking.
Applicants from SC/ST/ExSM/PH categories & all women candidates are exempted from paying fees.
Applications should be submitted only through ssconline2.gov.in by completing part – II & II registration forms.
