Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB), a Govt. of India undertaking & one of the 19 public sector bank which are to full their vacancies through IBPS common written exam.Accordingly, the bank has announced its recruitment of 800 clerks that are spread across its branches.A detailed look of this latest project is given below.
Punjab & Sind bank with its head office in New Delhi was founded in the year 1908. Currently the bank has more than 900 branches with a strong network in Northern India.

Qualifications:
The eligibility criteria for these clerk jobs in Punjab & Sind bank are ,
- Min.18 & Max.28 years of age, as on 1.08.2011
- Pass in graduation OR 60% marks in HSC/ 12th (55% for SC/ST)
- Must read/ write/ speak the official language of the state applying for.
- Should have appeared for exam at a test centre located in that state.
- Preference shall be given to those with computer knowledge.
All qualified candidates with a valid scorecard issued by IBPS can apply, as
no minimum TWS has been specified.
Selection:
Candidates would be shortlisted based on the IBPS scores of applicants & it will be only as per the no. of vacancies as per order of higher merit.
The interview process carries 100 marks & it is necessary to secure atleast 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC) for final selection., wherein weightage would be given to your CWE scores as well.
Application:
Fee of Rs.50 (SC/ST) or Rs.200 (Gen/OBC) must be paid at CBS branches of Punjab & Sind bank using the given challan or through NEFT method at any branch of other banks only within the above mentioned dates.
