RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 Exam: Results Out | Mains on December 20

The RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 Exam Results have been released.This examination was part of the selection process of 600 assistants in Reserve Bank of India.RBI, being the central bank of the nation, always creates lot of excitement among aspirants looking for bank jobs.Candidates shortlisted in prelims should appear for the mains to be held on December 20th.

The RBI assistants recruitment 2017 for 620 vacancies was released in the month of November.With state-wise vacancies, the average salary for an assistant in RBI was approximately Rs.32,258 / month.

Inorder to qualify for the posts, candidates need to appear for two stages of online test – Prelims & Mains.

RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 Results

The RBI assistants preliminary exams were held on november 27 & 28, 2017 at various centres across India.

It was like any other bank exam of 100 minutes with the paper consisting of sections (i) English Language ii) Numerical ability and (iii) Reasoning ability.

Within 2 week`s time, the bank has declared the results by publishing a list of candidates who have successfully cleared the prelims.

Marks & Cutoffs: The objective exam was for a total of 100 marks.Inorder to get selected for mains, you should have secured the minimum cutoff in each test & also on the total score.

Both successful & unsuccessful candidates can know their marks & category-wise cutoffs once its released on RBI website in the next 2 weeks.

Get Ready for Mains

The RBI assistants main examinations are scheduled to happen on December 20, 2017. It is also an online test for 200 marks & has 5 different sections.

Some important information about the main examination II that you must know are:

  • Candidates should pass in each section of the main examination
  • There are negative marks (0.25) for each wrong answer
  • All those who qualify in mains will have to appear for language proficiency test.(see list of languages for each state)

Since the English paper is to test your descriptive (long format) writing skills, answers must be typed using the keyboard in the computer itself.
