RBI Grade B: What is the Eligibility Condition?
Inorder to apply for this RBI grade B officers recruitment 2022, candidates are required to satisfy the following conditions:
Age: Should be within 21 – 30 yrs (+3 yrs for OBC,+5 yrs for SC/ST, +10yrs for PWD) , as on January 1, 2022.
Educational qualification: You must have scored minimum 60% marks in UG degree (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) OR or minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in PG degree / equivalent, as on 01.01.2022
For those who are awarded CGPA scores, you must convert it into percentage & enter in the application form. If your college doesn’t provide the conversion method, use the following table to know about the conversion in percentile.

Number of attempts: General category candidates who had already appeared 6 times for RBI Grade B (phase I exam) previously are NOT eligible to apply in this 2022 recruitment exercise. There are no such restrictions for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
Selection Process:
The RBI grade B recruitment exam is completely online & is held in two phases:
- Phase I: Objective paper for 200 marks on May 28, 2022
- Phase II: To be conducted on June 25 for 300 marks
Phase I: The objective test will consist of questions from i. General Awareness, ii. English Language, iii. Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.
Phase II: It consists of 3 papers – i) Economic and Social Issues ii) English (Writing Skills) iii) Finance and
Management.
There are cutoffs for each section as well as for total score in phase I & only those candidates who secure the necessary cutoffs shall become eligible for Phase II.
The final selections shall be done based on your aggregate marks obtained in Phase II (paper I + II + III) and interview.

Registration Process:
Individuals who wish to apply for RBI grade B recruitment 2022 must pay Rs.850 (GEN/OBC) or Rs.100 (SC/ST/PWD) through online payment only.
The online application is available at the RBI website (rbi.org.in) where candidates have to fill their personal, educational qualifications & pay the fees. After submission of the form, you must take a print out the system generated application & the fee e-receipt.
