For some reason they have now decided to postpone exams that were to be conducted in the upcoming days.

It says that exams have been postponed only for 8 centres in Allahabad, Pune & Delhi & West bengal. There is no change for other centres.Read the detailed notification
The SMS message from RRB says:
“ Due to unavoidable circumstances, your NTPC (graduate) examination has been rescheduled to a later date. Your revised date and venue will be communicated to you shortly. – Railway Recruitment Boards ”
From what we know, the railway board has only decided to reschedule only some exams that are to be conducted in a specific RRBs from April 28.They have also NOT cancelled any examinations.
* All those candidates who had appeared for RRB NTPC exams upto April 25 – none of your exams have been cancelled or postponed
* But they should keep an eye on their emails & SMS
Railway ministry was informed about few malpractices like leaking of question papers, impersonation, online solving etc., that happened in few centres such as Allahabad, West bengal etc.,.
6 people were also arrested recently in connection with this racket which included a railway official, software experts & invigilators.
But no large scale cheating were reported till now from other states. So it is premature to say whether RRB NTPC railway exams will be cancelled completely or not.
Therefore don’t trust any websites that says RRB exams have been cancelled, unless they show some official proof.
I have my exam next week but did not receive any sms till now. What to do?
If you didn’t receive any message, you MUST appear for the examination in the allotted centre.
No.Railway Recruitment Boards have not mentioned anything like that.So dont get tensed.
Incase, widespread rigging is confirmed – then the entire exams could be called off.
In the coming days, more details shall emerge from RRBs which we will keep updating on this website.
Did you receive any message from RRB? If yes, mention your RRB name & exam date so others would know who are affected by this change.
