The RRB NTPC exam pattern was on expected lines with 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.0.33 marks would be reduced for each wrong answer.
According to candidates feedback, the exam difficulty was easy to moderate.The paper was not divided into sections & was a mix with questions being asked randomly.
General Intelligence & Reasoning section had around 20 questions from Arrangement, Blood relation, Series, Syllogism, Ranking etc.,
Although few candidates felt it to be little time consuming, most of the questions were solvable.

General Knowledge section was the highly anticipated in RRB NTPC exam because we were quite sure that current affairs wont be asked in large numbers.

As expected, not many current affairs questions were asked.Just a few in appointments, awards & events.Surprisingly, even questions related to railways, budget & indian economy were missing.
There are 3 shifts of exam being conducted on a single day.So there will be some difference in GK questions in each shift.
Hence concentrate more on preparing for the static GK part, which means you need to be through about the basic things.
We know many would be really interested to know about the RRB exam expected cutoffs.But this railway exam is to be conducted upto April 30.
With a total of nearly 100 test shifts still pending the question level could vary for each day.So only after the complete process is over, the cutoff pattern could be derived.
Having said that, we may look at the safe number of attempts because that is more important to calculate your cutoffs.
Candidates who are appearing for RRB exams in the coming days should aim to attend these number of questions with maximum accuracy.
