RRB Railway Exam 2016 Starts from March 28 | Call letters Released

The Indian Railway Recruitment 2016 to fill 18,252 vacancies under Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) created huge interest among indian graduates.It is said that atleast 1 crore candidates may have registered for these posts.Now all these people will fight for their selection as RRB exam dates were announced starting from 28th March 2016.

While registering for the Indian railway recruitment, everybody will have given their preference to posts such as Assistant Station Master,Goods Guard, Enquiry Clerk, Clerk, Accounts assistant, Commercial & Traffic apprentice.

Though there are 9 different posts, all candidates need to appear for only 1 common Computer Based Test (CBT) which is nothing but an online exam

RRB NTPC Exams upto April 30

The much awaited CBT is to be held from March 28 to April 30, 2016.An official notice mentioning the same was put up on few RRB websites.

Here are some important points to note:

  • While most government job exams are conducted only on Saturdays & Sundays, the railway exams are to be held on weekdays.

     

  • There will be 3 test shifts (slots) on a particular day – 9 AM, 12.30 AM & 4 PM.The exact date & shift will be mentioned in your RRB call letter (admit card)

     

  • Candidates have to report at the venue 1 hour 30 minutes before their exam timing.It means, a person whose test starts at 9 AM must report at the venue by 7.30 AM itself. For 12.30 AM & 4 PM slots, the reporting time is 11 AM and 2.30 PM respectively.

     

  • The computer based test shall have 100 questions that must be completed in 90 minutes.(See RRB selection process & details about the online test)
