State Bank of India has declared the results for its PO written examination held in November 2014.While this SBI Associate Bank PO 2014 results could be good news for some, it is bound to break hopes of many other aspirants.The reason is simple – of the total number of registrants only a handful have managed to qualify for the next stage.
SBI had advertised 2986 PO recruitment across 5 of its associate banks in the month of August 2014 & online applications were invited upto September 18.
With the demand for bank jobs in India increasing every year, the response for SBI recruitment should have been truly overwhelming.
Phase – I Results Out in Record Time
State Bank of India usually takes 4-5 months to publish results but this time its out in just 2 months.This is quite surprise because the bank had other recruitments for clerk & officer also running parallel.
Phase I of the selection process consisted of Objective test for 200 marks & Descriptive test for 50 marks.So candidates had to appear for a written test that totaled 250 marks.
This online test was conducted in the month of November 2014 & those who appeared for it can now check their result status by downloading the list from their website directly (.pdf)

So check your inbox for confirmation email sent by SBI at the time of registration or fee payment challan or application reprint etc as they may contain your roll nos.
SBI might have planned to complete the entire selection process for 2900 PO associate bank vacancies by March 2015 end.Hence details of exam marks could be uploaded onto their website only after that ie. in April.

10,000 to attend Phase II
With the PO results now released, 9517 candidates are found to be eligible for Phase – II (Group discussion & Interviews) from February 16 onwards.

The detailed schedule (date, time & place) for phase II activities will be printed in the call letter which qualifiers can download from SBI website here.
You will need to login using your registration or roll number & password or birth date to download the call letter.Without any of these details, it is impossible to take a print of the admit card.
State bank of India is also intimating the qualified candidates via email & SMS.So keep an eye of those too.
About SBI Associate Bank PO Interview
GD & Personal interviews for PO position in SBI associate banks are to start from February 16 & its time to get yourself ready to face the panel.
Candidates should qualify in Phase II by securing the minimum marks fixed by the bank for being considered for final selection.
The final merit list will be prepared category-wise by ranking the qualifiers as per their total marks which is for 100 (written test marks are converted to 75 & phase II marks are converted to 25)
