The SBI PO recruitment was held to fill 2313 officer vacancies in State Bank of India branches across India.
Accordingly, the notification was published & to filter candidates, SBI had come up with multi stage process to pick candidates, which are:
Phase I – Preliminary Examination for 100 marks
Phase II – Main Exam for 200 marks
Phase III – Group discussion & Interview for 50 marks
After the SBI PO prelims results were declared, successful candidates had to appear for the main examination that was conducted on June 4, 2017.
SBI PO mains was an online test for 200 marks consisting of 155 questions that should be completed in 155 minutes.
The SBI PO mains 2017 results was supposed to be released on June 19 but was postponed by the management.Now the results for SBI PO mains is also published by state bank.

With the exam results released, action shifts to the final stage of SBI PO recruitment 2016.

Call letters & Bio data form for qualified candidates can be downloaded from the bank`s website from specified dates.It will contain the GD/ interview venue, time & list of documents you need to carry.
Call letters for GD cum interview won’t be sent to your address by post.Hence don’t forget to visit sbi.co.in & download the letter.
You can expect the final selection list during the last week of August or first week of October.But do you how much one needs to score inorder to get featured in the appointment list?
Just like prelims & mains, there are separate scores for this phase III as well.Here are the breakup:
A final merit list is prepared for 100 marks which is derived by converting the 250 marks of main exam to 75 & 50 marks of phase III to 25.
The candidates who rank at the top for each category are then finally appointed as PO in SBI as per vacancies.
