Specialist Officers are appointed in specialized departments of public sector banks to handle core businesses related to a particular sector.SBI, being the country`s largest public bank, this is a good opportunity for professional degree holders to enter banking sector.
This SBI specialist officer recruitment 2020 is exclusively for State bank of India & is NOT related to IBPS specialist officers recruitment held for other public sector banks in India.

Position – Vacancies – Salary:
A total of 362 jobs are to be filled by SBI across its different departments, on contract and regular cadre basis.
Contract basis:
- Executive (FI & MM) – 241 posts – CTC of ₹ 6 lacs / year
- Sr. Executive (Social Banking & CSR) – 85 posts – CTC of ₹ 10 lacs /yr
- Sr. Executive(Digital Relations) – 2 posts – ₹ 12 lacs to ₹ 20 lacs / yr (CTC)
- Sr. Executive(Analytics) – 2 posts – ₹ 12 lacs to ₹ 20 lacs / yr (CTC)
- Sr. Executive(Digital Marketing) – 2 posts – ₹ 12 lacs to ₹ 20 lacs / yr (CTC)
Regular cadre
- Product Manager (scale III) – 6 posts
- Manager (Data Analyst scale III) – 2 post
- Manager (Digital Marketing scale III) – 1 post
- SME Credit Analyst – 20 posts
Contract period: The initial period of contract is 3 years which is renewable for another 2 years at bank’s discretion.
Eligibility Conditions:
All those who wish to apply for these specialist officer jobs in SBI must fully satisfy the below eligibility criteria, as on Mar 1, 2020.
Executive (FI & MM)
- Maximum age of 30 yrs
- Should have completed graduation (4 years full-time course) in rural economy/ agriculture & allied activities/ horticulture.
- No experience is required.
SeniorExecutive(Social Banking & CSR)
- Maximum age of 35 yrs
- Should have completed graduation in any degree.
- Need atleast 3 years work experience including 2 years in rural area with any corporate/ NGO/ Societies.
Senior Executive (Digital Relations)
- Maximum age of 35 yrs
- Should have completed B.E./B. Tech with minimum60% marks in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication from recognised University/Institute.
- Minimum 4 years experience as Relationship Manager/Executivein dealing with digital marketing of Financial Products in Supervisory/ Management role with Financial Institutions.
Senior Executive (Digital Marketing)
- Maximum age of 35 yrs
- Should have completed B.E./B. Tech with minimum 60% marks in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication from recognised University/Institute.
- Candidates with MBA/ Full time Digital Marketing Certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 4years post qualification experience of working inthe field of marketing of Bank/ Financial products as Manager/Executive in Supervisory/ Management role with Corporate/ Financial Institution.
Credit Analyst (scale III)
- Age limit of 25 to 35 yrs
- Should have completed CA/ MBA(Finance)/ PGDM(Finance)/ PGDBM (Finance) or equivalent postgraduation degree from Recognized University/ College.
- Minimum 3years experience as on 01.01.2020 in a Bank/NBFC/PSU/FIs/Credit Rating agency in appraisal/assessment of credit proposals of medium/large corporates.
# Age relaxations for OBC: +3 yrs; SC/ST: 5 yrs is common for all positions.

Selection Process:
As part of the selection process, candidates will be initially shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience. Those selected are then called for personal or telephonic interview.There are no written examinations for these positions.
Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only.
