Syndicate Bank has announced PO recruitment through which they intend to recruit young graduates, train & appoint them as probationary officers.The hiring process is being done in association with Manipal university & NITTE university.For the past few years, public sector banks are showing interest to recruit for their vacancies in tieup with private universities.
We see many private companies in IT, Telecom, Manufacturing sector ask for bonds from new recruits to reduce job hopping.This trend is catching up with public sector banks too & they are looking at ways to keep employee for longer periods.

Probationary Officer – 500 Openings
The selected students will be inducted in batches to Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, Bangalore (MaGE) & NITTE Education International Pvt Ltd.(NEIPL), Greater Noida/ Mangaluru through this current selection exercise for 2018-19.
Who are Eligible?
If you are interested to apply for this from Syndicate Bank Manipal PO recruitment 2018, satisfying the following conditions are necessary:
– Age to be within 20 – 28 years only as on Oct 1, 2017 (+5yrs for SC/ST, +3yrs: OBC)
– Any degree with min. 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) as on 1.10.2017
IBPS score is not required.Hence even those who did not appear or couldn’t qualify in IBPS PO bank exams are also eligible to apply.
Appear for Online Test:
All eligible applicants will have to participate in a online test (objective type) that is scheduled in the month of February.Qualifiers of this test shall then be invited for GD/ Interviews.
The online test contain 200 questions – each carrying 1 mark for a total of 200 marks. While 0.25 would be reduced as negative mark, the duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
Candidates are required to secure certain cutoff marks in each objective test section & on the total marks as well.There will be a descriptive paper to test your english writing skill that will be conducted in online mode only, which is for qualifying purpose only.
The final merit list will be chosen based on the performance of candidates in online test and interview and/ or group discussion as decided by the bank.

PO Job after 1 Year:
All individuals who get selected through the aforesaid selection process will be admitted for a 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance course at Manipal University (Bangalore) & NITTE University (Noida)
The total cost of this programme is Rs.3.50 lakhs (including boarding, lodging, course fees, other fees, etc.).

Candidates can avail an educational loan from the bank itself to pay for their course fees.
- Repayment of loan shall begin only you appointed as PO (after 1 year of training)
- EMIs will be deducted from your salary for a period of 84 months (7 years)
During the training period stipend of Rs.3000 (for 9 months) & Rs.15,000 (final 3 months) shall be paid to meet your expenses.
Get Bonus for Staying!
You heard it right.Candidates who join Syndicate bank as PO through this recruitment process will be paid certain bonus amount from 5th year onwards.
Rs.1,00,000 is to be paid each year on completion of 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th year of service in the bank.This means, a candidates will receive a total of Rs.5 lakhs as loyalty bonus after 10 years.
