Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) has released its latest recruitment 2017 notification for clerks.TMB was established in 1921 in Tuticorin & has grown now to become one of the popular private sector banks of the nation.Tamilnadu mercantile bank currently has a network of over 500 branches across India.
While the IBPS exams are held only for jobs in government owned banks, vacancies in private banking companies are filled through their individual selection procedures.
Since TMB is a private bank, IBPS exam scores are NOT required to apply for this TMB Clerk Recruitment 2017.

Online registration of applications from February 8 to 22, 2017
Written test dates shall be informed later by post.

Clerk – with total emoluments in the range of approx.Rs.20,860 /month

Who are Eligible:
Anyone who wishes to apply for clerk jobs in Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has to satisfy the following conditions,
- Arts/ Science degree holders must have 55% marks.
- BE/ Btech degree candidate must have 60% marks.
- Age not be above 24yrs (for UG) & 26 yrs (for PG grads), as on Oct 31, 2016 [age relaxation for BC/ MBC: +2 yrs & SC/ST/PH – 5 yrs]
If you had completed degree through Correspondence/ open university/ distance education – you are NOT eligible.
Local language proficiency: All applicants must be able to read, write & speak the regional language of the state in addition to English or Hindi.
Test for Selection:
TMB shall conduct an online test (objective type) & it is necessary for applicants to qualify in this to be shortlisted for personal interviews.
The test is to be held at centres located within that state specific only.So make sure to read the complete notice & know the city where the exams would be held.
The date, time & venue of online test will be communicated to the eligible candidates individually by post.
Based on these results, a merit list would be prepared & candidates shall be called to attend interviews.

The application fee is Rs.300 (Rs.150 for sc/st) which should be paid only through the online payment gateway integrated with the application form.

- Click on ‘Apply Online’ under the heading ‘Recruitment of clerks’
- Register with your personal details to get registration ID & password sent to your mobile number
- Login using the details sent to submit your application.
- Take a print of the generated e-application, affix your recent color photo & sign the form.
