Union Bank of India Specialist Officers Recruitment 2017: 200 Vacancies

Union bank of India has announced its recruitment of 200 credit officers as part of the specialist officers recruitment project 2017- 2018.The bank is one of the top public sector banks in India & has its head office in Mumbai.Started in the year 1919, this bank has grown over the years & presently has 2800 branches across the nation with 29000+ employees.

IBPS conducts a common written examination for all those willing to apply for officer vacancies (specialist cadre).But unlike other upcoming bank jobs (PO or clerk), vacancies for scale II and III specialist officers are seperately notified by individual banks based on their requirements.

Credit Officer (scale II) – 200 posts

Online application registrations from October 4 to November 4, 2017

Written exam on November 25, 2017

Eligibility conditions:

All those who wish to apply for union bank of india credit officer recruitment 2017-18 should satify the following criteria:

– The agelimit is min. 23 & max 32 yrs, as on Oct 4, 2017

– Candidate should have completed bachelor`s degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks (55% for OBC/ SC/ ST) from a recognised university, as on Nov 4, 2017

– Should have atleat 2 years experience in processing of credit proposals in officer cadre with any commercial bank

Note: IBPS specialist officer exam scores are not required.Hence all candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection process:

The selection process will comprise of online examination, group discussion/ interview.

The online test of 120 minutes duration will be conducted on 25.11.2017 at centers located in the following cities only: (a) Bengaluru (b) Delhi (c) Kolkata (d) Lucknow (e) Mumbai.

A total of 200 questions from reasoning, quantitative aptitude, professional knowledge and english language forms the paper pattern.Checkout the detailed pattern in the image below:

While candidates are required to qualify in each test paper of the online examination, wrong answers will fetch 0.25 negative marks.Only those who secure above the minimum qualifying marks set by the bank, are shortlisted for group discussion/ interview stages.

The GD/ Interview stage carries 50 marks and the minimum qualifying mark is 25 (22.5 for sc/st/obc/ pwd)

Applications:

Interested candidates need to pay Rs.600 (gen,obc) or Rs.100 (sc/st/pwd) at the time of registering online before November 4, through net banking, credit/ debit cards.

On successful completion of registration, an e-receipt, registration number & password will be generated which needs to be saved.Do remember to take a print of the same for future reference.
