Q: Is it compulsory to have 60% in HSC exam?
A: 60% marks in std.12th is essential for non-graduates only.If you had completed any degree from a recognized university, XIIth marks doesn’t matter
Q: I am in final semester of college.Am I eligible?
A: Yes.If you posses 60% in std.XII (HSC) exams & will complete graduation within the next 3-4 months, you can certainly apply by specifying +2 marks.
Q: I am from Delhi & want to work in Karnataka.But dont know its local language
A: To apply for vacancies in Karnataka state, you must know their local language. ie.Kannada.It is a qualification specified by united india in its advt.
You may be asked to read or write in that language during the interview process.
So do not apply for any state without knowledge of its regional lang.
Q: Can I apply for 1 state & choose a test centre in another state? A: No.You will have to appear for written test from a centre located in the state that you opted to apply.Both should belong to the same state.
The online application also does not permit any applicant to choose locations for vacancies & test. |
Q: I will complete degree in May 2016 only.Shall I apply?
A: Although you can apply with std.12th marks (if you have 60%) we suggest you to complete the graduation.
Successful candidates will be asked to join immediately.At that time you cant request for 1 year joining time nor discontinue your final year of college.
So final year students should look at completing their degrees first.
On Selection Process
Q: Is IBPS common exam scores required?
A: No.The United India insurance company`s assistants recruitment 2015 is not dependent on IBPS scores.
Even if you didn’t qualify in IBPS PO, clerk or specialist officer CWE – it is possible to apply for this hiring.
Q: Will it be an online test?
A: Yes.There will be an online test for all applicants.Those who qualify in this test & interview will be called for a computer proficiency test (CPT) to test your skill of computer operations.
There are no marks for CPT but one has to qualify in it for final selection.
Q: What are the books for insurance assistant exam? A: To help you prepare for this assistant recruitment exam, here are some books available on the internet.

Q: Will insurance assistant exam be of clerical pattern?
A: The objective test sections detailed in notification is similar to IBPS clerk common exam.Also the minimum educational qualification fixed for assistant posts is std.12 & pass in degree,
Hence the assistants recruitment exam question paper shall be of clerk level only.
On Registrations
Q: I have completed applying & paid fees too.What next?
A: On successful submission, take a print of the payment e-receipt & system generated application form.Both these are required at the time of interview.
Q: I cannot upload my photo/ signature.What to do?
A: Open the online application link in Chrome or Internet explorer & make sure to disable pop-blocker.Your details wont be saved unless the photo & sign images are uploaded successfully.
- The size of your photo should be 20kb or less
- The size of signature file should be 10kb or less
After filling in details, click ‘Save data’.Once the ‘Upload images’ button gets activated, click on it to open a pop-up window for uploading images.
Q: Can I pay the application fees through offline?
A: Not possible.There is no option to pay fees at any banks.You must pay it only through the online payment facilities such as debit/credit card, internet banking etc.,
